Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, and interviewing for store associates, cashiers, and supervisors.
- Onboarding & Training: Conduct onboarding for new hires and coordinate training on customer service, product knowledge, and compliance.
- Employee Relations & Retention: Act as the first point of contact for staff grievances, ensuring a positive work environment to reduce high retail turnover.
- Attendance & Payroll: Manage daily attendance, leave records, and prepare inputs for payroll processing.
- Performance Management: Assist store managers in conducting performance appraisals and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure adherence to labor laws (e.g., shops & establishment act) and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 13 years of experience in HR, preferably within retail, fashion, or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
