Job Title: Scanning Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a Scanning Operator responsible for digitizing physical documents and maintaining accurate electronic records. The role involves scanning, indexing, and organizing documents while ensuring data quality and confidentiality. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with basic computer knowledge and attention to detail.
Education Background Criteria: Graduation after 2021 in any stream is mandatory for joining under Apprenticeship Act. Only challenging locations can be considered on Fixed Term Contract based on candidate availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan physical documents using scanning equipment and convert them into digital format.
- Ensure clear and accurate document scanning without missing or distorted pages.
- Organize, label, and index scanned documents for easy retrieval.
- Maintain proper document naming conventions and file management.
- Perform basic quality checks on scanned files before submission.
- Upload and store scanned documents in the designated system or database.
- Handle confidential documents with proper security and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain scanning equipment and report any technical issues to the IT team.
- Ensure daily productivity and meet assigned document processing targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams for document collection and verification if required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with 6 months1 year experience in scanning, documentation, or back-office operations.
Required Skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, file management).
- Familiarity with document scanning software and scanners.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage large volumes of documents.
- Basic understanding of document management systems (DMS) preferred
- Time management and ability to meet daily targets.
