Job Description
1 We are looking for an experienced Nursing Superintendent with minimum 10+ years of hands-on clinical and nursing administration experience to lead and manage nursing services for a 50-bed hospital in Guntur. The role requires strong expertise in patient care delivery, nursing operations, staff management, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- * Oversee end-to-end nursing operations across IPD, OPD, ICU, OT, and wards
- * Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical protocols
- * Prepare and manage duty rosters, manpower planning, and shift allocation
- * Supervise and guide nursing staff in day-to-day clinical activities
- * Monitor and enforce infection control practices and hospital hygiene standards
- * Lead training, mentoring, and skill development of nursing staff
- * Conduct regular audits on nursing documentation and care quality
- * Ensure compliance with NABH standards and documentation requirements
- * Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and hospital administration
- * Handle patient and attendant concerns related to nursing care
- * Manage nursing inventory, consumables, and equipment
- * Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction
Required Skills:
- * Strong hands-on clinical experience with leadership capability
- * Expertise in team handling, supervision, and staff development
- * Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
- * Experience in NABH compliance and hospital quality standards
- * Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Candidate:
- * Minimum 10+ years of hospital experience with leadership exposure
- * Experience in multi-specialty hospitals preferred
- * Local candidate from Guntur or nearby preferred
- * Immediate joiners preferred
Qualifications:
- * B.Sc Nursing / GNM (M.Sc Nursing preferred)
- * Registered with State Nursing Council
