Job Summary

The Teradata Data Engineer should be from EDW or Data Mart Systems & should possess broad technical, architectural knowledge in Teradata to develop, enhance, administer and support large data platform spanning across Business Data landscapes, Data Warehouse Systems to make business applications more streamlined and performant to meet Production cycle SLAs. The data engineer will follow application design standards and frameworks related to model deployment and execution, collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization. He or she will also ensure data deployments are to the highest quality and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of IT experience, OR in lieu of Degree, a High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in Teradata and proficient with BTEQ scripts.
• Strong database concepts- SQL, Store Procedures, Reports, Triggers etc.
• Excellent communication skill.
• Solution orientation and problem-solving skill
• Reporting and Data Visualization QlikView/Power BI
• Strong analytical ability
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
