Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:
- Overall having 5+ Years Experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, 11g, 10g.
- Must have Hands on Development Experience in ODI-12c. development of Complex ODI Packages, Mappings, Load Plans, ETL processes flow, ETL control tables, ETL Scripts, Error logging, auditing, data quality, etc.
- Good to have Hands on Development Experience in lower versing ODI -10g as well.
- Should have the ability to Set up, Configure ODI environments, Topology, Model, building objects in Designer, Monitoring Operator, different type of KMs, Agents etc.
- Must be well versed and hands-on in using and Customizing Knowledge Modules (KM)
- Good Experience in ODI Version Upgrade & ODI Migration.
- Experience of ODI Performance Tuning of Packages, mappings, flows.
- Ability to design ETL Unit Test cases and Debugging ETL Packages, Mappings
- Expertise in developing Load Plans, Scheduling Jobs
- Integrate ODI with multiple Source / Target
- Experience on Data Control, Error Recycling in ODI.
- Should have the concept of Data Warehouse, Star, Fact, Dimensions, Lookups.
- Experience on Oracle RDBMS, Tables, Views, Synonyms.
- Should have good knowledge & experience on Indexing, Gather Stats, Performance Tuning at Database level.
- Experience on Oracle SQL Developer, Advanced skills of SQL (analytical functions etc.) and PLSQL
- Should be responsible to independently Design & Develop complex Packages, Mappings, Process Flows and ETL scripts, Customization of Knowledge Modules, Fitments, Testing, Debugging of Errors, ODI Code-Fix, ODI Backups and Code Deployments across various instances like DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD.
Carrying out Unit Test and System Integration Testing till PROD Go-Live and beyond.
- Should have the ability to Communicate effectively and present/demo ideas and solutions
