Job Description
Responsibilities for datastage
- Serve as a Tech Lead on multiple, large integration and data publishing projects or as a project lead on smaller projects, ensuring consistent design and efficient data processing
- Design and develop innovative data solutions for demanding business situations
- Pocess good knowledge of PL/SQL / Stored Procedures , DB2
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT project managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements
- Technically own and manage the process of ensuring timely build of the various elements of the solution
- Contribute to SDLC and QA teams to establish best practices implementation of methodologies and toolsets
- Function as a senior TSA/Development Lead on new initiatives (small to large of varying complexity)
- Review, research and analyze business and system needs, explore alternative options to recommend technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needs and PLC deliverables including component reusability, data sharing and security
- Work on development and enhancement projects and follow and enforce development, architecture and infrastructure standards
- Support technical component upgrades for DataStage, Database, Application Servers
Qualifications for datastage
- Demonstrated understanding of source-to-mapping logic
- Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues
- At least 3 years experience in desarrollando con ETL DataStage
- Install/upgrade Information Server product suite on different tiers (Server and Client)
- Possess at least 4 years experience in a Support Analyst role
