Job Description
Senior Manager - Delivery Excellence
Person will be primarily responsible to head the overall delivery excellence charter for one of the business unit. He/She is responsible to maintain a zero surprise environment by maintaining compliance to QMS, CMMI, ISO for the organization. He/She will drive continuous improvement through innovation and product quality initiatives. He/She will be primary point of contact for Delivery Excellence for specific initiatives and work with different teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management
- Handle status on risks and escalations with delivery leadership across projects in BU
- Identify key risks, issues and potential escalations for discussion in governance call using various tools and through SQA reviews
- Have risk related cadence with delivery leadership and project managers
- Have internal risk related cadence with SQA team members
- Communicate risk ageing and escalation closure status to delivery leadership
- Governance
- Prepare and present status during monthly reviews on Delivery Excellence function review with executive leadership
- Participate in fortnightly portfolio and account reviews with Account Delivery Managers
- Present DE function performance status during account level reviews with DE Head
- Review progress against the expectations set and provide updates to Delivery Head on BU performance including updates on initiatives in progress, status on action items as well as opportunity to improve engagement maturity
- Review project level performance on SQA reviews with SQAs
- Continuous improvement
- Analyze review findings and identify/initiate improvement opportunities
- Involve in BU level new initiatives related to productivity improvements
- Involve in conducting theme based workshops for projects
- Monitor sustenance of best practices and new initiatives across accounts
- Review engagement maturity of projects across accounts
- Involve in external accreditation like ISO, CMMI Soc 2
- Plan/launch CSAT/NPS Surveys and post survey analysis related activities
- Involve in improvements in QMS
- Explore Gen AI tools for automation work
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Must have 16 to 20 years of experience
- Must have worked with a reputed consulting organization or IT Services Organization.
- Professional certifications such as Scrum master/ Assessment team member (CMMI) etc
- In-depth knowledge of Software engineering, project management lifecycles, DevOPS, QA lifecycles, Agile methodologies
- Understanding of CMMI standards, ISO9001
- Understanding of tools such as JIRA, Service now, TFS, Microsoft Project, VSS, Sonar cube, Fisheye, Jenkins, and all Office Tools
- Consultative & Solution-oriented - Ability to propose design and development approach.
- Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong facilitation skills with an ability to respond to immediate and urgent requests
