*Job Purpose:*
The Area Manager IFA is responsible for driving business growth through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel. The role involves managing a regional sales team, expanding the advisor network, and ensuring achievement of AUM (Assets Under Management) and revenue targets through strong relationship management and strategic execution.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Drive AUM growth and achieve assigned revenue targets through the IFA channel
* Recruit and onboard new IFAs to expand the distribution network
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing IFAs
* Manage, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
* Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and culture
* Provide end-to-end support to IFAs including product guidance and query resolution
* Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives for partners
* Plan and execute seminars, investor awareness programs, and marketing activities
* Support IFAs in client acquisition and business growth
*Candidate Requirements:*
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in investment product sales within the IFA channel
* Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent preferred in Finance/Marketing)
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with BI tools for reporting and analysis
* Strong understanding of financial markets, mutual funds, and wealth management products
Prior experience in team handling is preferred
