Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- To collect, receive, sort, test, sterilize and pack contaminated instruments, containers, treatment trays and other supplies and equipment that have been used in the operation theatre, ICU, wards, emergency (casualty) room and CATH lab and prioritize sterilization depending on emergency requisitions.
- To operate automatic and semi-automatic sterilizing equipments like steam sterilizers, Ethylene oxide sterilizers, Ultrasonic cleaners.
- Report problems and information of operational nature to the department head or supervisor.
- To inspect or replace missing or damaged equipment, make minor repairs on them, maintain inventory of supplies and materials to include documenting usage, issuing, receiving and reordering as assigned.
- To maintain an accurate record regarding the effectiveness of the various processes of cleaning, disinfections and sterilization.

Preferred Education- B.sc Chemistry
Experience- 0 to 2yrs
