Job Description: Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG) and Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. The Nurse will work closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist in the delivery of infants and provide immediate care to newborns.
- Administer medications and manage IV fluids as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided.
- Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Skills and Tools Required: - Current nursing license (RN) with specialization in OBG or LDR.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and best practices.
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications.

A valid nursing degree and state nursing license.
