Automation Engineer- TOSCA @ Tata Consultancy

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• 4+ years of handson experience in TOSCA automation.
• Strong knowledge of: 
• Module creation
• TDS (Test Data Service)
• TestCase Design
• Execution Lists
• Test Configuration Parameters(TCP)
• Reusable test step(RTB) blocks
• DEX Execution
• Experience with API automation using TOSCA API Scan.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, scripting, or programming concepts.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Design reusable, modular test cases using Tosca TestCase Design (TCD).
• Create automation workflows using Tosca Modules, Templates, Requirements, ExecutionLists.
• Implement best practices such as: 
• Reusability
• Maintainability
• Low maintenance scripts
• Datadriven automation

Module Creation & Maintenance

• Scan APIs, UIs, and XML/JSON structures using Tosca API Scan.
• Build and maintain Module folders (classic or XScan).
• Update modules when UI/API changes occur.
• Maintain versioning of TestCases and Modules.
