Job Description

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Implement BDD framework using Cucumber (feature files, step definitions)
• Write clear and reusable test scenarios using Gherkin syntax
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Identify, log, and track defects using test management tools
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in BDD tools like Cucumber
• Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit frameworks
• Understanding of automation framework design (POM, data-driven, hybrid)
• Familiarity with API testing (REST, Postman, RestAssured)
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
