Job Description
Job Title: Automation Test Analyst
Location: Bangalore (Global Axis), Kolkata (Gitanjali park), Hyderabad (Adibatla), Bhubaneshwar (Barabati) or PAN India
Experience: 4-13 years
Virtual Interview Date: 2nd April (Thursday) or 3rd April (Friday)
Timing from 10am - 2pm
Job description:
- Strong handson experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and BDD (Cucumber).
- Ability to write robust automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of automation using REST Assured or similar libraries.
- Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to integrate automated tests into continuous testing workflows.
- Strong skills in test case design, execution, and optimization.
- Experience in defect reporting and tracking using JIRA or ALM.
- Good understanding of SDLC phases and software delivery processes.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and industrystandard automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber BDD).
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured, ensuring backend functionality and integrations work as expected.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration test suites; identify gaps and enhance automation coverage.
- Participate in the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps to enable continuous testing.
- Review and analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA or ALM.
- Ensure test deliverables meet quality standards by following the established SDLC and Agile practices.
- Contribute to sprint planning, daily standups, refinements, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and reusable components to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Provide clear documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and QA processes
