Role Overview

A UPI Technical Project Manager to manage and lead endtoend deliveries of NPCI UPI & KYC products for a large public sector bank.

Desirable Skills:

Banking domain experience in UPI and mobile banking is mandatory

10+ years of technical leadership experience in REST APIs, Java/Spring, Microservice, Spring, Oracle, Linux

Experience in managing crossfunctional teams of developers and support persons

Experience of seamless implementation of UPI product

Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and negotiations skills

Good exposure to applications architectures and deployment strategies

Good exposure to security audits, VAPT, SAST, encryption standards

Good exposure to Understanding of payment switch architecture, encryption, signing, and security controls

Good exposure to Oracle and highavailability production environments.

Good exposure to sprint planning, prioritization, risk management

Good exposure to handle stakeholders preferably with experience of working at onsite client location

Good exposure to peoplemanagement.

Good to have exposure to microservices, Kubernetes/containers.

Good to have exposure to managing 247 support environments.

Desirable to have PMP/Prince2/Agile certification.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivery of UPI projects (Switch, PSP, SDK and Admin modules)

Coordinate with various stakeholders (Bank team, NPCI, compliance teams, senior management)

Expertise in translating business/regulatory requirements into technical tasks

Manage tasks, workloads, shift planning

Review architecture, API flows, Code, logs

Monitoring live environments

Analyse critical issues and provide detailed RCAs

Ensure no escalations writ to project deliveries

Lead teams across development, QA, DevOps, DBA, and support

Advise customer on product optimization

Provide project updates to all stakeholders

Publish key project statistics TPS, latency, failures, optimization and operational improvementds
