Job Description

We are seeking an experienced (3 to 6 years) Frontend UI Developer to join our team and work on cutting-edge cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the OpenShift Console Platform (OCP) using dynamic plugin architecture based on microfrontends. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern frontend technologies while contributing to enterprise-grade Kubernetes solutions.
## Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI and integrate with OCP console dynamic plugins using microfrontend architecture
- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Perform functional test automation using Cypress for CI
- Debug and resolve issues across multiple components and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in bug triaging, code reviews and contribute to best practices

Containerization & Orchestration**: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
Frontend Architecture**: Microfrontends, Module Federation
Build Tools**: Webpack (configuration and optimization)
Programming Languages**: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
Framework**: React (Hooks, Context API, State Management)
Version Control**: Git (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews)
Testing**: Unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library
Preferred technical and professional experience
Operating Systems**: Linux command line proficiency
Testing Frameworks**: Zest, Cypress (E2E testing)
Cloud Platforms**: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift
Kubernetes**: K8s Operators concepts
CI/CD**: GitHub Actions, automation workflows
API Testing**: REST API testing and integration
