Job Summary:
We are seeking a mid-senior level Project Manager and Scrum Master for one of our largest clients in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be an experienced agile feature team member proficient in estimating and prioritizing feature backlogs to ensure team productivity and consistent delivery. This role requires managing stakeholder expectations and commitments while demonstrating excellent analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. The candidate should possess a strong initiative, the ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple deadlines. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical leadership and mentoring, fostering an open and inclusive environment that encourages team participation in design and development.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
- Facilitate the prioritization of the development backlog within agreed timelines.
- Recognize areas of strength and improvement within the team, employing appropriate coaching and development techniques to achieve high performance.
- Ensure Scrum is understood and adhered to by the team, following Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and domain knowledge.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and support project or product teams.
- Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to enhance the effectiveness of Scrum application within the organization.
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Act as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams primarily focused on Business as Usual (BAU) work and key departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Proficient in detecting potential project risks and implementing solutions to mitigate impacts on timelines or business operations.
- Experience in conducting in-depth research to understand customer needs and defining an iterative delivery roadmap.
- Ability to present to diverse audiences and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
