Job Description
Job Summary
This position is for Asset management applications maintenance & support team. As pert of this role we need to manage the application batch jobs involve in C# application development using APIs enhancements and bug fixes. Good to have knowledge on Informatica Capital markets and production support projects.
Responsibilities
C# Knowledge (Must Have): Experience coding in C# being comfortable in many aspects of the technology. Must be proficient in domain such as: .Net core and framework error handling threading race conditions garbage collection entity framework and MVC patterns.
- API Development (Must Have): Must be comfortable creating and using REST APIs including Requests Responses Endpoints and Payloads. Also must be versed in API keys OAuth JSON as well as using tools such as Swagger and Postman.
- DevOps (Nice to Have): Be fluent in the DevOps and CI/CD terminology and be comfortable working with a separate team to complete pull requests and initiate deployments using TFS and Azure.
- Database Skills (Must Have): Ability to develop SQL queries views stored procedures/functions and use analytical skills to debug and investigate data issues using SQL. Ability to write scripts and automate tasks as needed. Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Visual Studio CoPilot (Nice to Have): Must be comfortable with using Visual Studio CoPilot to aid and assist in not only creating code but also in using it to analyze existing code bases to find better ways to accomplish the given task.
- Financial Industry Knowledge (Must Have): Familiarity with financial instruments markets and industry-specific data requirements. Ability to translate requirements into Markit deliverables.
