Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow SPM Developer with strong expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions that align business strategy with execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, and Agile Development within ServiceNow, along with a solid understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and foundation data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow SPM solutions including Demand, PPM, Resource Management, and Agile modules
- Configure and customize workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations
- Manage and maintain CMDB in alignment with CSDM framework and foundation data best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support portfolio planning, project execution, and resource allocation processes
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for portfolio visibility and decision-making
- Implement financial planning features including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and enterprise systems
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and platform standards
- Perform unit testing, support UAT, and provide production support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Demand Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Resource Management
- Agile Development (Scrum/Kanban)
- Solid understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and Foundation Data
- Experience in configuring:
- Workflows / Flow Designer
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts / UI Policies
- Integration (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting within SPM
- Experience in building reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics
- Good understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, SPM/PPM preferred)
- Experience with Integration Hub, MID Server, and APIs
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools integration
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
