Job Description
Job Title: QA Lead (Manual Testing)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to manage the testing activities for our projects. The role requires strong expertise in manual testing, team management, and client communication to ensure high-quality product delivery. Experience in automation and performance testing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 610 years of experience in Software Testing
- At least 2+ years of experience in QA Lead / Test Lead role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure timely and high-quality testing deliverables.
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Review test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
- Coordinate with development, product, and client teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA.
- Ensure test coverage, quality standards and release readiness.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming sessions and release discussions.
- Provide regular QA status reports to stakeholders and clients.
- Mentor and guide QA team members to improve testing practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT support)
- Experience in test planning and test case review
- Experience managing QA teams and coordinating testing activities
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Good understanding of defect lifecycle and QA processes
Good to Have
- Automation testing knowledge using tools like Selenium WebDriver
- API testing experience using Postman
- Basic performance testing exposure using Apache JMeter
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
