Job Description
Job Title: Depot Billing Executive
Department: F&A
Location: Baroda
Job Summary:
The Depot Billing Executive is responsible for managing all billing-related activities at the depot. This includes invoice processing, maintaining billing records, handling customer accounts, and supporting store and inventory coordination. The role requires accuracy and coordination with sales, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure smooth operations in the Paints & Chemicals industry.Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing Operations
- Generate and process invoices accurately as per company policies
- Ensure timely billing aligned with dispatch and delivery schedules
- Maintain proper billing documentation and records
- Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with internal teams
2. Accounts Handling
- Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure proper reconciliation
- Track outstanding payments and assist in follow-ups
- Coordinate with accounts team for ledger verification
3. Coordination & Support
- Work closely with sales and dispatch teams for order and billing alignment
- Handle customer queries related to billing and invoices
- Ensure smooth communication between depot and HO accounts team
4. Store & Inventory Support
- Assist in maintaining stock records related to billing
- Support inventory reconciliation with billing data
- Ensure proper linkage between material movement and invoicing
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure GST and TDS compliance in all billing processes
- Maintain accurate records for audits and internal checks
- Follow company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Education: B. Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in billing/accounts, preferably in Paints, Chemicals, or Manufacturing industry
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/Oracle software
- Knowledge of GST and invoicing procedures
- Experience in billing systems and documentation
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
