Job Description: Automation Testing with Playwright
We're seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer with a passion for automation and a track record of delivering high-quality software. As a Playwright expert, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for our web applications using Playwright. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and quality assurance, to ensure that our product meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests for web applications using Playwright
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and create test cases
- Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure high test coverage and execution efficiency
- Identify and report defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Develop and execute test automation scripts using Playwright and other relevant tools
- Analyze and provide recommendations for test automation improvements
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute manual testing plans
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation code
- Develop and maintain test data and test environments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends, tools, and technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on web applications
- Strong experience with Playwright and its ecosystem (e.g., Playwright-Python, Playwright-JavaScript)
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Unit test, or TestNG
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or Circle CI
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and testing principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
