Job Description

Role : Database Administrator

Exp range : 8-12 years

Location : Chennai/India

Must-Have**

• Database Administration skills
• Oracle Financial, Spatial
• Oracle RAC, Goldengate, EXAData
• Strong Knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Non-SQL Databases
• Responsible for Oracle database performance tuning
• Experience with Recovery Manager (RMAN)
• Database Administration and Planning including logical design, physical design, backup & recovery
• Implemented DataGuard (Standby) for high availability/disaster recovery purpose
• Installation, up gradation and Maintenances of Oracle RDBMS on Linux & Windows platforms.
• Worked on preparing cluster, configuring and Installation of Cluster ware and Oracle RAC on Red Hat Linux.
• Startup and Shutdown of Individual instances on RAC database using Enterprise Manager

Good-to-Have

Working Knowledge of Non-SQL databases like MSSQL, DB2 DBA, MongoDB
