Position Summary... About Team :
Our team works closely with our US stores and Walmart Health and Wellness business to better serve customers by empowering team members, pharmacies, and clinics with technological innovation. From pharmacies and clinics to mobile features, Walmart Health and Wellness offers an extensive selection that our customers and patients value, whether they meet with their clinicians online at Walmart.com , through our web experience, or in-store.
What youll do:
As a software engineer ( Frontend ) you will develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience:
Excellent proficiency in front-end technologies Excellent proficiency in front-end technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, NextJS, webpack, babel, Jest, RTL and related frameworks).
Software development by providing engineering patterns to deliver the optimal product, including implementing design patterns. Work closely with peers and senior engineers/architects.
Partner with UX, product owners and business SMEs to analyses the business need and provide a supportable and sustainable engineered solution. Ensure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs.
Build reusable React components with Typescript ; modular CSS, own the end to delivery of shipping software at scale.
Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Webpage test, or custom tooling.
Deep understanding of React, Node.JS and its core principles
Experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web service
Stay current with latest development tools, technology ideas, patterns and methodologies, share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key stakeholders.
What youll bring:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in React development.
Extensive experience building web applications using MVC frameworks (ReactJS) for customer facing applications.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
Logging ; Monitoring tools like Splunk, OpenObserve, Grafana etc.

Understanding of frontend security and performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science or related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
3-7 years of experience in development of building highly Responsive UIs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript ; ReactJS,NextJS, GraphQL
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
Understanding of frontend security and performance.
