Job Description
The Senior MEP professional will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and quality control of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across complex real estate projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all MEP design and construction activities from concept to completion
- Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure alignment between MEP, architectural, and structural works
- Manage MEP consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors
- Oversee HVAC, electrical, ELV, plumbing, fire fighting, and BMS systems
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and procurement related to MEP scope
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international codes, and safety standards
- Lead MEP inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover
- Identify risks, resolve site issues, and manage variations and claims
- Prepare technical reports and updates for senior management
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 1218+ years of experience in MEP works for real estate or construction projects
- Proven experience on large-scale developments such as high-rise buildings, malls, hotels, or mixed-use projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, international standards
- Experience with testing & commissioning and authority approvals
Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Office, and project management tools
