Job Title: QA/ QC Engineer - Civil
Location: Visakhapatnam
Employment Type: Full-time contractual (On SGS Payroll)
Working Days: 6 days/week
Working Hours: 9 hours/day

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures for large-scale construction works, including foundations, RCC structures, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and plans for civil construction activities.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality compliance for:
- Foundations and substructures
- Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) works
- Structural and building works
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants on quality-related matters.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks at various stages of construction.
- Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective/preventive actions, and ensure closure.
- Maintain records of quality reports, test results, and inspection logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Experience: Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.
