As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires overseeing the entire quality engineering lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring that testing activities are executed efficiently and effectively. This position focuses on improving the control, accuracy, and integrity of testing outcomes by integrating innovative tools and approaches, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain high standards throughout the testing process.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with project goals. Professional Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve system performance.
- Familiarity with integrating automation tools into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to test automation frameworks.Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
