Staff Nurse @ Centre For Sight

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, supporting medical teams, and ensuring a safe and hygienic healthcare environment. The role includes monitoring patient health, administering treatments, and assisting in medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and overall condition.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans and home care.
• Handle medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff for effective patient management.

Qualifications:

• GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Valid registration with Nursing Council.

Experience:

• Fresher or 03 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in hospital settings preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure.
• Basic computer knowledge for documentation.

No night shifts
