We need candidates accustomed to working like a senior product owner taking real ownership of the product lifecycle, not operating purely in a supporting or requirements-gathering capacity.
On domain, candidates don't need to cover every area of last mile or middle mile logistics, but they need enough of a foundation to engage intelligently from day one. Relevant backgrounds include field service dispatch, 3PL platforms, grocery or food delivery, supply chain visibility tools, or consumer on-demand services like Uber, Lyft, or Grubhub essentially any domain where coordinating the movement of goods or people across multiple stops or legs is core to the product.
On UX, candidates should come prepared to speak concretely about a UI they helped design and the impact they made. Showing a mockup, wireframe, or publicly available product during the interview is ideal without violating any confidentiality obligations but at minimum they should be ready to discuss real UI/UX involvement in depth.
