Responsibilities
A day in the life of an Infoscion
As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight. You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organizations financial guidelines Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. Change Release Coordination
Provide oversight during deployments and upgrades
Support readiness checks and post-implementation validation
Coordinate with Change Management processesCommunication and Collaboration
Communicate testing results and validation status clearly
Translate technical outcomes into business impact
Coordinate with LOB users and global teamsControl Room Team Responsibilities
Provide centralized command for monitoring, testing, and validation
Ensure visibility of batch execution and system health
Lead post-change validation
Coordinate issue triage and escalation
Support financial close validation
Drive continuous improvementWe currently have open positions in Hyderabad location.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Platform Application Familiarity
SAP (ECC, BW, BPC) and related finance applications (Hyperion, BlackLine, etc.)
Awareness of upstream/downstream dependencies including Informatica and data pipelines
Working knowledge of infrastructure components (AIX, network, database dependencies)Testing Validation Support
Execute and support production validation activities following infrastructure and application changes
Partner with LOB and application teams to validate critical financial outputs and reports
Identify, document, and escalate defects or inconsistencies
Support smoke testing and post-implementation validation cyclesTroubleshooting and Incident Management
Rapid triage of production and testing-related incidents
Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams
Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking
