We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - RTR


Work location- Mumbai (work from office)


Record To Report including Accounting and Reporting is an important service line within the Finance and Accounting (F&A) practice at Genpact.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparing the balance sheets and checking all the accounts (banks, fixed assets, client accounts, supplier accounts, tax accounts, etc.)
  • Closings and reconciliations for the managed accounts
  • Daily monitoring and processing of cash management activity
  • Analyzing and posting the accounting journals, making reclassifications and corrections
  • Hands on experience with Payroll Accounting including preparation of journals based on files received from upstream stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret the financial data and accordingly work on adjustments/ accruals.
  • Handling the accounts reconciliation for the group companies according to procedures, when required
  • Preparing the reports for the final balance sheet for each month end within the consolidated ERP system, according to the American accounting standards (US GAAP) and/or the local standards (according to the clients location)
  • Offering the necessary reports and information for the internal and external controls
  • Preparing monthly performance reports according to the established contract indicators and any other additional requested reports to be reviewed by the client
  • Communicating in a timely manner any relevant information related to the process
  • General accounting tasks (GL account maintenance, journal entries, closing activities, payroll accounting, balance sheet and PNL reporting)

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce/ CA/ MBA Finance
  • Good level of English language.
  • Accounting knowledge intermediate level;
  • Good Excel skills
  • Communication skills
  • PC Skills

Encouraged qualifications

  • Personal culture and client management expertise.
  • High motivation and ability to learn.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
