Job Description
Experience - 5 -10 Years
Location - Bengaluru , Chennai and Hyderabad
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
- Experience in ETL Development, Testing, and Migration by using Data Stage also experience in Database & Data Warehousing Concepts.
- Good exposure to different phases of project life cycle with significant contribution in low level design, development, review, testing and implementation of ETL projects.
- Designed parallel jobs using various stages like Copy, Join, Merge, Lookup, Funnel, Filter, Sort, Remove Duplicates, Sequential file, Data set, Lookup file set, Aggregator, Change Capture and Transformer.
- Created jobs in DataStage to import data from heterogeneous data sources like Oracle 9i, Text files and SQL Server.
- Good experience on UNIX and SQL.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data architects to understand business requirements
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance improvements
- Ensure data quality and data integrity across multiple sources
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
- Involved in designing the mapping with multiple files loading using file repository and good knowledge about data ware housing concepts.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure ETL best practices are followed
- Worked in Agile project and on JIRA to keep track of defect logs and change request.
- Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues
- Understand the varying demands across stakeholders, appreciation of operations support as a critical component of business delivery
