Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HCC Coding Specialist to support risk adjustment initiatives through accurate diagnosis coding and documentation review. The role requires strong knowledge of ICD10CM coding guidelines, HCC models, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HCC coding and abstraction using ICD10CM diagnosis codes
• Review medical records to identify chronic and highrisk conditions
• Ensure accurate HCC capture in line with CMS / Medicare Risk Adjustment guidelines
• Apply MEAT documentation standards while coding
• Conduct prospective and/or retrospective coding reviews
• Identify documentation gaps and provide feedback for improvement
• Maintain compliance with coding regulations and audit standards
• Achieve daily productivity and quality benchmarks.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)
• 2 to 6 years of handson HCC / Risk Adjustment coding experience
• Strong knowledge of ICD10CM coding guidelines

Preferred Skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and documentation review skills
• Ability to work independently in a deadlinedriven environment
