Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Translator to join our team in the Patient Care Services department at Apollo Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have excellent translation skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibility
- Translate medical documents, reports, and other patient care-related materials with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication between patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and concepts to facilitate effective translation.
- Review and edit translations for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors before submitting them to stakeholders.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance translation processes and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to patient information.
Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in English language with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to understand complex medical terminology and concepts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or similar industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
