Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test cases across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end levels to ensure reliable and scalable quality validation.
- Define and execute comprehensive test plans, including clearly articulated testing phases, strategies, and coverage goals.
- Build, enhance, and support scalable test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines used across multiple teams.
- Apply testing best practices and principles to improve test effectiveness, efficiency, maintainability, and defect detection.
- Implement appropriate automation techniquessuch as data-driven testing, pairwise testing, mocking, and test hooksbased on the problem space and system architecture.
- Design and develop software with testability in mind, enabling high-quality deliverables at the lowest overall cost of ownership.
- Maintain high code quality through engineering best practices, thorough unit testing, and automated code quality and coverage tools.
- Make informed technology and tooling decisions through due diligence, experimentation, and impact analysis.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code that delivers the intended functionality using the selected technology stack.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
- 2 years of experience of Software development in a technical and analytical role.
- Demonstrates experience and ability to write Java code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
- Expert in automation Tool/framework/techniques (Behavioral Driven Development, Jbehave, Cucumber, selenium, Jmeter)
- Has experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems
- Has experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
- Knowledge of Healthcare domain & standards (HL7 , FHIR) is a big plus
