Data Architect (With Data Vault 2.0) @ Hexaware Technologies

Job Description

• 8 10 years experience as Data Architect
• Design, develop, and govern enterprise grade Data Warehouse architectures using Data Vault 2.0 methodology (Hubs, Links, Satellites).
• Define and maintain logical, physical, and business data models aligned with Data Vault standards.
• Rewrite and prepare mapping documents based on the SQL based stored procedures and with new Data vault based tables.
• Knowledge on Raw Data Vault and Business data vault concepts
• Usage of skill-based modeling using GitHub Copilot is highly preferred
• Experience or working knowledge of datavault4dbt (highly preferred).
• Hands on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branching, code reviews).
• Proficient with VS Code for data development workflows.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Perform data architecture reviews, ensure consistency, and drive reusability across projects.
• Support performance tuning, data quality checks, metadata management, and lineage.
• Mentor team members on Data Vault 2.0 concepts and practical implementation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
• Experience with automation, documentation, and test-driven data development.
