Job Description
***We are looking for Azure Data Architect who can join us immediately at our Bangalore Office***
Role & responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect/Tech Lead to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role involves architecting modern data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL, while guiding engineering teams and ensuring best practices in data architecture, governance, and performance optimization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture on Azure.
- Architect and build data ingestion, transformation, and processing frameworks using ADF, Databricks, and Synapse.
- Design modern data warehouse / lakehouse architectures using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT frameworks capable of handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Architect batch and near real-time data pipelines for enterprise analytics.
- Implement performance optimization strategies including partitioning, indexing, and distributed data processing.
- Define data governance, security, and access controls using Azure Key Vault, RBAC, and managed identities.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployment of data solutions.
- Establish standards for monitoring, logging, data quality, and operational support (L2/L3).
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

- Experience Requirements
- 10+ years overall experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
- 6+ years experience working with Azure Data Platform.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong experience with distributed data processing and modern ETL frameworks.
