Job Description

Must have:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language
Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries
Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently
Strong business acumen, process knowledge in logistics and across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging industry trends
Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies
Ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive way

Nice to have:
First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
Typically, 6 - 10 years of experience in supply chain or logistics function
Project management degree or certification

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage Supply Chain projects, including complex projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution
  • Lead cross functional regional project teams (logistics procurement, customs, process engineering, business units SC operations, IT, logistics service providers)
  • Applies strong program governance methodologies including status reporting, steering board reviews and decision-making processes extended to multiple functions and/or businesses. .
  • Own on time program delivery and project quality metrics
  • Independently structure analytical approaches and develop project strategies by applying in-depth supply chain logistics knowledge and Project Management skills and methodologies.
  • Interpret data to drive recommendations and create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used to meet supply chain business objectives.
  • Adopt stringent project governance frameworks for project delivery and contribute to tools, templates, and intellectual capital
  • Work across multiple countries and businesses; work horizontally and vertically
  • Consults with business executives on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
  • Frequently interact with Directors
