As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves enhancing the testing process by integrating continuous and efficient quality engineering practices. This role focuses on improving the overall control, accuracy, and integrity of testing activities by leveraging advanced tools and methodologies. The position requires evolving testing strategies to be more predictive and intelligent, utilizing automation and innovative solutions to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaboration with various teams to streamline testing efforts and drive improvements is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on testing goals and deliverables.Professional Technical Skills:Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for automation and improvement.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in test execution and reporting.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
