Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing for web and cloudbased applications to ensure quality and functionality
- Analyze business and functional requirements and derive effective test scenarios
- Design, prepare, review, and maintain test cases and test documentation
- Execute functional, backend, and regression testing across releases
- Validate backend responses including JSON schema and JSON data
- Perform data flow testing and basic database validation to ensure data integrity
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defecttracking tools
- Coordinate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders for issue resolution
- Participate in testing activities across SDLC and STLC phases
- Support automation test execution and maintenance activities when required
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices
Technical Skills:
- Experience in Manual Testing including functional, backend, and regression testing
- Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and maintenance
- Knowledge of JSON schema validation and JSON data validation
- Experience in backend and data testing concepts
- Basic understanding of database validation and data consistency checks
- Awareness of Azure cloud environments and cloud application testing
- Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and frameworks
- Ability to support automation test execution and maintenance activities
