Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create the high-level architecture & design for the platform including network, storage, security, Monitoring and authentication for:

1) Azure Container Apps

2) Azure Kubernetes Service

3) Azure App Services

4) Azure SQL MI & Azure PostGres Databases

Ensure High Availability and Auto-scaling capability of the AKS/ACA Platforms and Azure SQL & Azure PostGres databases

Create the high-level design for auditing, availability, disaster recovery, backup

Work with Northern Trust Cloud Foundation Team & Architecture Review board for Permit to Design/Build

Implement Integration of azure services (on premise or cloud) Solace, Kafka and IBM MQ

Set up of monitoring, logging and cost management tools that integrate with Azure

Must have Technical/ Functional Skills:

Experience in Designing robust cloud infrastructures utilizing a wide array of Azure services
Hands-on experience on containerization platforms like AKS cluster design and build experience in Azure
Experience in networking principles, Kubernetes networking
Experience of implementing High-Availability & Resiliency deployment architecture
Experience in Cost Optimization
Experience of Migration Project, Azure Migrate, Database Migration Services configuration
Metrics reporting (HA, usability, scalability, latency, traffic, error, saturation, etc.) for containers using Azure Monitor and Prometheus/Grafana
