Job Description
Project descriptionWe are seeking talented and motivated Cloud Engineers to join our growing cloud engineering team. We are hiring engineers across two teams who will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies on AWS and Azure platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals who are eager to develop their skills in cloud infrastructure and automation. You will report to one of our three experienced team leads, working in a collaborative environment where learning and innovation are encouraged. Our teams are growing strategically - one team will consist of 5 engineers while the other will have 6 engineers, ensuring you'll have peers to collaborate with while maintaining an agile team structure.
Responsibilities- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Technology Integration: Investigate and integrate identity management, storage solutions, container platforms, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies
- Cloud Platform Management: Work with AWS and Azure services to build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
- Collaboration: Partner with team leads and fellow engineers to deliver reliable and efficient cloud solutions
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices while building expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and cloud-native services
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or related technical roles
- Demonstrated interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience
- Eagerness to learn Terraform, Ansible, and various AWS and Azure services
- Understanding of basic networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and system administration concepts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with any of the following: AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC), Azure services (Virtual Machines, Storage, Active Directory/Entra)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Exposure to programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell)
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus
