Job Description
- Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work
- Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
- Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
- Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
- Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
- Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams
- Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East Africa only:
- Experience in Scrum, Agile, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working on Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Cybersecurity related projects
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of technology operations
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Prior successful work leading scrum teams in a matrixed environment
- Experience with one or more Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other accredited Scrum Master Certification
- Ability to coach and mentor teams with excellent communication skills with the ability to concisely express highly technical concepts to non-technical business partners
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise sized environment
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
- Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective) and ensure they are purposedriven and outcomefocused .
- Remove impediments and actively manage dependencies and risks that impact team delivery.
- Coach teams to become selforganizing, crossfunctional, and highperforming .
- Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure a healthy, prioritized, and wellrefined backlog.
- Drive continuous improvement through datadriven retrospectives and actionable followups.
