Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for achieving the manufacturing metrics target as set in the management objective OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) / FTT (First time through); Safety (Lost time cases)
Responsible for shop floor discipline and enforcement of company rules. Responsible for PQCDSM from all 3 shifts
Ability to manage a large team in all 3 shifts
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
Must be able to communicate effectively within the organization vide oral and written means
Train-evaluate women to meet the job requirement
Interact with Material planning, Quality, Purchasing, HR and Maintenance functions to effectively carryout day to day activities
Responsible for implementing IATF, IMS. TPM in the shopfloor Responsible for driving continuous improvements in the shopfloor

Qualification and Experience

B.E (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, EEE, ECE) with 8 to 12 years of experience in SMT manufacturing

Required competencies

Candidates with green belt six sigma are preferred
Candidates must have hands on experience in IATF core tools
Knowledge about TPM, TQM and Lean tools are preferred
Good communication in English and Tamil are preferred
MS-Office and MS-Excel are must
Knowledge about SAP or QAD is an added advantage
Candidates from EMS background is an added advantage
