Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Customization Engineer with 612 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter customization and configuration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Teamcenter data models, server-side and client-side customizations, and Active Workspace (AW) configurations. This role demands solid debugging skills, cross-platform development experience, and working knowledge of SQL scripting.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand, analyze, and customize the Teamcenter Data Model as per business requirements.
- Configure Teamcenter using Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE), including objects, properties, workflows, and preferences.
- Design and develop server-side customizations, including:
- Extension Rules
- Action and Rule Handlers
- SOAs
- Dispatcher Modules
- Utilities
- Perform client-side customizations using RAC (Rich Application Client) and Active Workspace (AW).
- Configure Active Workspace using stylesheets and Configurable Compound Properties.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform customizations ensuring performance and stability.
- Apply effective debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and production issues related to Teamcenter customization.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter Data Model
- Hands-on experience with Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE)
- Expertise in server-side development (Extensions, Handlers, SOAs, Dispatcher modules)
- Experience in Active Workspace (AW) configuration using stylesheets
- Client-side customization experience in RAC and AW
- Proficiency in debugging techniques and issue resolution
- Experience in developing cross-platform customizations
