Job Description
Role : Cloud Security Engineer
Experience : 5-8 Years
Mode of Work : Hybrid
Location : Hyderabad
Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days only

Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security guardrails and baseline controls across cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)
- Implement cloud network security contrls including WAF, ATM, NSGs, Private endpoints, vNETs, vNET-vNET peering etc.
- Enable cloud security automation using IAS and PoliciesasCode to enforce security and compliance requirements
- Define and implement standards for:
- Logging and monitoring
- Identity and access controls
- Cloud Network security and segmentation within the cloud platforms
- Encryption and key management
- Integrate security controls into:
- InfrastructureasCode frameworks
- CI/CD pipelines
- Design reusable security patterns for cloud workloads
- Act as escalation point for complex cloud security issues
- Lead remediation efforts for security gaps and misconfigurations
- Partner with Cloud Architects on secure reference architectures
- Collaborate with Cloud Automation teams to scale security controls
- Support compliance initiatives and audits with technical expertise
- Mentor Associatelevel Cloud Security Engineers
- Drive continuous improvement of cloud security tooling and standards
Skills
- Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in cloud security engineering (Azurefirst; AWS/OCI a plus)
- Deep understanding of:
- Cloud IAM and identity federation
- Encryption, key management, and secrets handling
- Cloud Network Security
- Logging, monitoring, and security telemetry
- Strong experience with:
- InfrastructureasCode
- PolicyasCode frameworks
- Azure Security Center/ MS Defender for Cloud
- SIEM Tools
- Familiarity with cloud security tooling and integrations
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (conceptual)
- Professional Skills
- Strong ownership and securityfirst mindset
- Ability to design scalable, reusable security solutions
- Clear communication with engineering and architecture teams
- Mentoring and knowledgesharing mindset
