Role Overview
The Unit HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions at the hotel unit level, with a key focus on talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement, and statutory compliance.
The role requires a hands-on HR professional who can align people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles for all hotel functions (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, etc.) Collaborate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements and ensure timely closures Ensure quality hiring aligned with brand standards and service expectations
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management Oversee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave management, and exit formalities Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HR systems Drive smooth execution of daily HR operations at the unit level
3. Employee Engagement & Relations Foster a positive work culture and high employee engagement Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution Drive initiatives related to retention, motivation, and workplace satisfaction
4. Compliance & HR Governance Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliances, and company policies Support audits (internal & external) and maintain necessary documentation Implement and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and internal controls
5. Performance & Learning Management Support performance appraisal processes and goal-setting frameworks Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities Partner with leadership to build a high-performance culture Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of HR experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
Strong exposure to recruitment and HR operations
Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
