Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer @ Kofax

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and Azure cloud security. The role requires deep expertise in cloud incident response, IAM, security monitoring, and automation to strengthen the organization s cloud security posture. The candidate will work closely with SOC, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture teams to design, implement, and improve cloud security controls and detection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud incident response investigations, including analysis of logs, threat detection, containment, and remediation.
• Develop and maintain cloud detection rules and monitoring use cases using logs such as CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Guard Duty, Azure Activity Logs, and Azure AD logs.
• Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, including least privilege, role-based access, and privilege monitoring.
• Build and maintain automation and security orchestration workflows to improve incident response and threat detection.
• Implementation of cloud security posture management and enforce configuration baselines, access controls, and logging standards
• Design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments
• Identify and mitigate misconfigurations and security risks in cloud environments.
• Develop playbooks and runbooks for cloud security incidents.
• Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis in cloud environments.
• Support compliance requirements and security standards related to cloud infrastructure.
• Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e. g. , chatbots, documentation automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.
