Role & responsibilities
Seeking a hands-on Automation Lead/Manager who can run projects end-to-end while
actively contributing to framework design and automation development. The role requires
strong technical depth, customer interaction, and the ability to design a scalable
automation ecosystem integrating UI, API, cloud execution, reporting, and JIRA.
Key Responsibilities
Own automation strategy, design, and delivery across projects
Design and implement enterprise-grade UI and API automation frameworks
Build and scale automation solutions from scratch
Drive Playwright + TypeScript automation
Integrate automation with JIRA, CI/CD, cloud execution, and reporting
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
Act as a customer-facing technical lead / manager for automation initiatives
Explore and implement AI agent testing & automation
Good to have knowledge and awareness of GxP regulations, Pharma / Life Sciences domain and regulatory requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
Overall 10+ years of UI / API automation experience using Selenium WebDriver
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
Strong experience designing enterprise UI and API automation frameworks
Proven ability to implement automation solutions from scratch
Strong coding and problem-solving skills in TypeScript and Java
Solid manual testing concepts and hands-on experience
Customer handling and stakeholder communication experience
Exposure to AI agent testing and automation
Strong communication and customer dealing skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Git for source code management
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automation execution
Experience on Azure DevOp
