Job Description
Job Title: SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant (OData)
Experience: 710 Years
Location: Pan India
Notice Period: Immediate to 40 Days (Strictlyprofiles with 60/90 days will not be considered)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant with OData expertise to design, develop, and support SAP workflows and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, workflow configuration, and OData services, ensuring efficient business process automation and seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP workflows (classical & flexible workflows)
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements
- Build and manage OData services for SAP applications and integrations
- Configure and troubleshoot SAP Business Workflow scenarios
- Work on user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and custom developments
- Integrate SAP systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Gateway services
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs
- Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve workflow-related issues
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- 710 years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development
- Hands-on expertise in:
- SAP Workflow (WS, TS, tasks, events, bindings)
- OData development (SEGW, Gateway, service registration)
- Enhancements (User exits, BADIs, implicit/explicit enhancements)
- Experience with S/4HANA ABAP development
- Good understanding of IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and ALE
- Knowledge of CDS views and SAP Fiori integration
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience in Flexible Workflow (S/4HANA)
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration with OData
- Knowledge of SAP BTP or RAP model (added advantage)
- Experience in upgrade/migration projectsRole & responsibilities
