Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end RTR process, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions
- Perform General Ledger accounting activities (GL postings, adjustments, and closures)
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities ensuring timelines are met
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiation
- Prepare Trial Balance, P&L, and financial statements
- Work on process improvements and automation initiatives
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Preferred candidate profile
- SAP experience (mandatory/preferred)
- Prior experience in Manufacturing industry accounting environment
- Knowledge of inventory accounting / cost accounting (preferred for manufacturing)
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
- CMA (Inter/Qualified) Preferred
- Must have core RTR exposure (not transactional only)
- Must be strong in GL + month-end close
- Prefer candidates with SAP + Manufacturing background
